The networks you can’t avoid when you travel.

Public Wi‑Fi is convenient and shared. Waysafe makes it safer to use.

One network for the whole building

You join the guest Wi‑Fi to send tomorrow’s slides. Every other guest is on it too. Tap connect first, and your email, banking and messages travel encrypted.

Airport · gate B22, 50-minute layover

A hotspot name is easy to copy

“Airport_Free_WiFi” could belong to the airport — or to anyone nearby. With Waysafe on, what you send stays encrypted even on a network you can’t check.

Spotting fake hotspots →

Café · client call at 10:00

Remote work, shared router

Working from a café means sharing one connection with everyone in line. Waysafe keeps your work traffic private from the network, so you can focus on the call.

FAQ

Questions travelers ask.

Do I really need a VPN on hotel or airport Wi‑Fi?

Many websites already use HTTPS, which protects the content of those pages. A VPN adds a layer on top: it encrypts all of your phone’s traffic — every app, plus the lookups that show which sites you visit — so other people on the network and the network’s owner can’t see it.

Does Waysafe keep logs of what I do?

No. We don’t store the sites you visit, your traffic, your DNS lookups, your real IP address, or when and where you connect. We keep only what we need to run your account: your email and whether your subscription is active.

Does a VPN make me anonymous?

No, and be wary of anyone who says so. Waysafe hides your traffic from the local network and hides your real IP address from the sites you visit. Sites can still recognise you if you sign in, and cookies still work as normal.

How does the free trial work?

You start the trial in the app, through the App Store or Google Play. If you cancel before it ends, you’re not charged. If you don’t, your chosen plan starts automatically.

How do I cancel?

On iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Waysafe. On Android: Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. You can also open these from Settings › Manage subscription in the app.

Will it slow down my connection?

Any VPN adds a little distance for your data to travel. Choosing Fastest, or a server close to you, keeps the difference small. On slow public Wi‑Fi, the network itself is usually the bottleneck.

Can I use Waysafe in every country?

Rules on VPN use differ by country, and some countries — including some in the Gulf — restrict or regulate it. Check the local rules before you travel. This isn’t legal advice.

Which devices does it work on?

iPhone and Android: phones, foldables and tablets. Sign in with the same account to use your plan on another device.
